*The first Start Up Now workshop on March 4 was a resounding success. Formed jointly between We Are America’s Bailout (part of Club E and Club eFactory) and Maximum Business Advantage, Start Up Now brought 20 recently laid off business professionals to the new Club eFactory location in Tempe. They began the day tossing around ideas for, and characteristics desired in, a brand new business. By noon, the group had developed the basic business concept and defined a Purpose, Vision and Mission that all could rally behind. After a catered lunch, complements of We Are America’s Bailout, the team regrouped and designed the business offerings including delivery method and the basic steps and structure of the business operations. Towards the end of the day the newly formed comp any split into thr ee working teams and each group developed goals and target dates to achieve necessary steps to prepare for launch. One of the most amazing aspects was that each of the three teams, working separately all came up with the same target launch date of May 1, 2009.Now these recently laid off professionals have a solid basis for a brand new company.
Join us on March 19 for the second Start Up Now Workshop. If you were turned down for the first workshop, please try again. This first workshop was limited only to very recently laid off professionals, future workshops will include individuals who have been out of work for longer periods as well as those who are just contemplating entering the entrepreneurial world. Send an email to WeAreAmericasBailout@gmail.com to register.
Our first event was covered extensively by Channel 3 News and showed different clips each hour from 11 AM until 7 PM all day on Wednesday March 4th. One clip is on the link below.

Meet Some of the People Working to Save America’s Economy
Hi all: good lord busy busy. Lot going on. We are trying to turn this economy around and god knows there is a LOT of work to do. A group of us met in Phoenix yesterday and were invited to the launch of The Valley Advisory Group held at the gorgeo us Four Seasons. This group is not only building the economy in Arizona, but people flew in from around the country to strategize on what to do to empower entrepreneurs to be successful.

Sue Malone largest lender to small business in the US- with www.strategiesforsmallbusiness.com. She is also on Obama’s Small Business Council). Lupe Gomez and I talked banking (he is the VP/ Relationship Manager for Sonoran Bank) . As a nice tangent, it turns out Lupe likes racing too. So besides the important business at hand, we talked bikes, cars, motors, tracks, skydiving and anything that goes fast. (nice :) …) when times are tough- its awesome to have an intense outlet like adrenaline sports (as i have said many times before- motorcycle racing is the ONLY thing that gets my mind to totally get quiet….skydiving comes in a close second).& nbsp;
Of course then there is Peter Burns, entrepreneur extraordinnaire, friend and biz partner (and Prez. of Valley Advisory Group). he was also the organizer of last night’s event and the master mind behind bringing all of us together. Tony Hudson is the web marketing machine for anything entrepreneur. His wife Karen was beautiful and all around- what a great night…beautiful place, beautiful people and important topics.
So great night and now back to work…keep your eyes/ ears out for this team in the news….in all seriousness- there is a lot of work to do but this team is up for the challenge. Thank you again Peter for organizing the over 200 guests to a great evening and an important event. xo- IV

Club E, in conjunction with our latest education partner, Andrew Jackson University, is about to announce its sweeping new initiative featuring a Zero Tuition Model, debuting first here in Arizona. (see below)
Zero Tuition College Degree!
ACCREDITED COLLEGE EDUCATION WITH ZERO TUITION MADE AVAILABLE TO ARIZONA RESIDENTS WITHOUT THE USE OF BAILOUT FUNDS
Club Entrepreneur and eFactory (Club E), started by serial entrepreneur and Valley Advisory Group President, Peter J. Burns, III have announced their intention to help solve the cost of education in Arizona without the use of government bailout funds.
Club E, exhibiting its entrepreneurial roots, is teaming up with Andrew Jackson University, a 100% online, accredited college with eleven degree programs, to eliminate college tuition costs for all Arizona residents. Under the program, Club E will act as the “tuition sponsor” and Arizona students who apply and are accepted for enrollment into Andrew Jackson University through Club E's website (www.clubefactory.com) can h ave their tuition completely waived. Students will pay minimal semester enrollment fees, and the tuition waiver will remain in effect as long as continuous enrollment in maintained.
Burns, who also serves as the Dean of the College of Entrepreneurship at Andrew Jackson University said “we look at this as the Arizona Online extension of Andrew Jackson University. The Alabama based college first opened its doors in 1994 and is at the forefront of finding creative ways to lower the cost of quality education. This enables students to complete an associates, bachelor’s, or master’s degree to gain first-time employment or have the opportunity to switch careers affordably.”
According to Don Kassner, President of Andrew Jackson, =E 2Andrew Jackson University is at the forefront of solving the cost problem associated with attaining a college degree. We feel compelled to act due to the recent cuts and tuition increases at Arizona universities. Our goal is to address all three potential problems with traditional education: cost, quality, and access. Our relationship with Peter Burns, and Club E helps us to solve all of these potential obstacles by providing the highest quality education at the lowest possible price to all college eligible residents of Arizona."
